Exam Assistant - Fixed Term Contract 6 months.
Purpose
To prepare and process examination packs accordance with WSET operating procedures. To provide general administrative support to the Exams department.

Job Responsibilities
Exam Administration
- Preparing and dispatching examination packs to Approved Programme Providers (APPs)
- Scheduling computer-based examinations
- Creating and updating candidate records
- Receiving, checking and logging the completed and returned examination packs
- Reviewing remotely invigilated exam feeds
- Sending examination orders to be invoiced and liaising with the Finance department to resolve any internal queries
- Scanning OMR answer sheets in to the ABBYY system
- Undertaking verification of electronic OMR answer sheets using ABBYY software
- Supporting the administration and delivery of Computer Based Testing (CBT) as required
- Preparing results documentation for dispatch
Customer and Candidate Enquiries
- Escalating enquiries and issues to the Exam Co-Ordinator and/or Exams Team Leader as appropriate
- Assisting the Exam Co-Ordinator and Exams Team Leader to resolve APP and candidate queries and issues
General Office Support
- Maintaining records and archives in an up to date and accurate manner
Other
- Deputising for the Exam Co-Ordinators as required by the Exams Team Leader and/or Examinations Manager
- Contributing to the Trust by undertaking other various tasks as required
Skills and Competencies
Essential:
- General office and administrative skills
- General IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
Desirable
- Experience of working in a busy office environment
- Experience of working in education administration
- Experience of working in examinations administration
- Experience of using databases
- Experience of using Computer Based Testing (CBT) software
- Experience of using CRM systems

- Educated to A-Level or equivalent
