The Role

We are looking for an experienced Backup & Recovery Solution Engineer to join a major IT infrastructure programme for one of our Big 4 clients most important customers.

The successful candidate would integrate into the consultancys team and work directly with the end client, providing technical advisory and helping deliver the Backup & Recovery Solution across the global environment.

Type of job: Contract / freelance

Working hours: Full-time (40 hours / week), the role will begin part-time in Dec 2022 and ramp up to full-time from Jan 2023 onwards

Duration:01.12.2022 - 31.07.2023 with high likelihood of extensions

This is a remote position.

Key activities:

Setup of process for objective collection and match with target picture of PoCs
Support of rollout of backup and recovery scenarios
Support of handover to Ops incl. technical documentation and training

Requirements

All candidates must have unrestricted rights to work in the EU or UK
Fluent in English
At least 3 years experience working with backup and recovery storage systems
Ability to support the client in delivering the key activities above
Design, migration and implementation experience on enterprise backup solutions
Experience with Rubrik and TSM
Good communication and documentation skills (HLD & LLD)
Ability to work under pressure
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
