What will your typical day involve
As an Accounts Assistant youll dive into the exciting world of financial operations managing bank transactions payments and reconciliation But theres more youll also help create a positive work culture and support our continuous improvement journey
Your Impact
- Handle daily Bankline transactions weekly banking and Direct Debits
- Maintain bank mandates online profiles and ensure suppliers are paid promptly
- Be the goto person for all bankingrelated questions inside and outside the organisation
- Identify and tackle control system issues to fortify our asset protection
- Manage cash holdings reconcile income and assist in crafting insightful ad hoc reports
- Support in resolving complaints promptly and professionally
- Play a key role in yearend accounts and audits
- Provide support within the team and flex your skills as needed
Who are we looking for
- Qualifications Good education AAT or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience Experience with Aqilla or similar accounting software building relationships cash and bank functions reconciling accounts care or charity sector (desirable)
- Skills Transaction processing organisational skills customer service communication Microsoft Office teamwork and attention to detail
- Attributes Quick decisionmaking positive attitude enthusiasm professionalism adaptability and values alignment
