Are you a Talented and Experienced Finance/Accounts Manager looking for your next challenge?

The Accountants Recruiter are pleased to be working with a family run manufacturing company based in Reading looking for an experienced Accounts Manager. This role has flexibility to anything from 3 days a week until 37.7hours a week

You will be a hands on manager who is able to run and manage a small accounts team. The role will also include reviewing costs and contract renewals.

Key skills required:

  • Experienced withrunning of an accounting department
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Great eye for detail
  • Experiencemanaging a team
  • Super organised and flexible in order to meet deadlines.





Requirements


Main roles and responsibilities:


  • Day to day posting of supplier invoices
  • End of month/year end reporting
  • Bank reconciliation and cash forecasts
  • Supplier payment runs (UK and Foreign), posting and allocating payments to the purchase ledger
  • Liaising with our payroll provider and auto enrolment pension contributions
  • VAT/HMRC tax returns and statutory reporting
  • Cashbook, posting receipts and payments
  • Credit control and assisting the sales office team with accounts queries
  • Ideally with experience of importing including VAT and Duty

Salary:FTE 30,000 - 50,000
