Tasks
We have a new opportunity for a Finance SAP Specialist to join our SAP Competency Centre, to focus on providing SAP functionalities to support the Finance business specifically across several process streams. As a predominantly project management and implementation-focused (not support) role, you will work with the business to gather requirements and design and configure optimal SAP Solutions, leveraging your in-depth specialist SAP FI and CO knowledge and ensuring there is compliance with our team standards and procedures.
Please note, while based at our office in Southampton (or London) on a hybrid basis, this role may also require travel to France (and/or other office locations in Europe), as our teams are based across different locations. We therefore require the successful candidate to be easily mobile for travel when required.
Requirements
- Strong project delivery/implementation experience
- The ability to manage and own large-scale changes across the SAP system landscape, meeting deliverable timelines
- Experience of structured systems development and project management methodologies
- Practical SAP understanding:
- Experience with FI, CO, GL, AR, AP, PS, & AA
- Good understanding of SAP FI integration points with other modules (e.g. MM, SD, Payroll)
- IDOC interfaces
- Customer-focused with excellent presentation skills
- Retail industry experience (ideal)
