FX Dealer (UK)
Reporting to: Head of UK Dealing
Working hours: Full time (8.30am -5.30pm Monday to Friday)
Location: Central London
Main purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to manage and continue to develop a profitable book of existing clients. Our client is recruiting on both their corporate and their private desks and in some circumstances operate a hybrid desk. Fintech-Rec.co.uk are seeking out top Dealing talent from within Payments & FX.
Requirements
Key responsibilities:
The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Proactively manage a book of corporate & private clients
- Attend regular meetings with clients and perspective clients
- Work with the UK Sales team to on-board perspective clients
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
- Maintain client relationships and retain business through active outbound calls and relevant market updates
- Accurately quote and confirm Spot and Forward FX transactions
- Identify and promote suitable FX hedging strategies to corporate or private clients
- Set and manage client margins effectively
- Perform ongoing portfolio analysis on existing clients to ensure optimal revenue generation
- Adhere to AML/Compliance obligations at all times
- Undertake any other duties which are commensurate with this role, as and when required
FX Dealer (UK) Person Specification Requirements
- Experience / Knowledge Previous front office experience in a dealing role
- Knowledge of FX, risk events and prevailing financial market conditions
- Previous experience of working as part of a team
- Industry qualification

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise a busy work schedule to meet competing or demanding deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative to solve problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently and sensitively communicate information to clients, other members of staff and management
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to constantly meet and exceed demanding revenue targets
- Ability to provide a professional and confidential service
- Ability to use Excel
Benefits
Salary & Package
Salary - 40,000 to 45,000
Commission - 10% comms with 2% kicker for overachieving, 20% comms on client you bring on
