Job Title: Advanced Sales CAD Assistant
RolesResponsibilitiesand Daily Tasks:
Listed in order of importance:
1. Understanding of customers (often poor) 2D or3D Drawings / sketches & ability to interpret &reflect in a 3D Model
2. 3D modelling (solidworks) to assist the salesteam providing complete 3D models to importinto the quoting software to achieve accuratequotes
3. Liasing with the sales team to relay anyinformation to assist with quoting
4. Communication with suppliers to obtain materialand outsourced part prices
5. Assistance with the drawing office
Essential Skills: 1. 5 years overall experience
2. 2.5 Years Sheet metal & fabrication
3. 2.5 Years Solidworks
4. Very good understanding of both 2D and 3Ddrawings
EssentialExperience:

We would ultimately hope that a successful applicantcould come into our business and fairly quickly beaccessing our sales inbox to interpret which salesenquiries would need further detailing to assist ourpredominantly untechnical sales department. This role isto apply a skilled & experienced operator which willallow multiple unskilled operators to work quickly andefficiently in sending quotes to our customers.
We would hope the successful candidate could alsowork with the drawing office during busy periods toassist in processing jobs for the shop floor and drawingjobs for customer approval.
