We are seeking a proactive and passionate Head of Event Operations that can hit the ground running across a varied and busy events calendar for one-year maternity With expertise across digital, face-to-face, and hybrid events management, you will make sure that our members and non-members are able to engage in and value an exciting, vibrant, and high-quality events programme that delivers value to both them and the

Your success will be measured on delegate satisfaction; retention and recruitment of members; revenue through sponsorship, fees, and external contracts; and the reputation of the events programme and wider

Requirements:

    • Proven track record of developing, managing, and delivering an events portfolio, achieving attendance, income, and satisfaction targets
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to facilitate relationships with new and exiting stakeholders
    • Experience in setting and managing complex budgets
    • Strong copywriting skills
    • Management experience

    The Team

    You will lead a hard-working and successful team of 4, dedicated to delivering high volume and high quality online, in-person and hybrid events working alongside a variety of teams across the Reporting to the Chief Education and Membership Officer, as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will not only lead the RPS Events programme but also shape and influence work across the Directorate to drive forward our priorities as a Professional Leadership Body to support our
