Working Hours:
This is a full time Monday to Friday role 38 hrs per week (Reduced hours may be an option for the right candidate)
Core working hours are between am & pm
Hours can be worked between am & pm
The Main tasks of the Internal Auditor:
- liaising with client/setting up working papers for the relevant testing
- Preparing audit reports and presenting findings
- Providing training, guidance, and support to members of the team as required
Attending clients premises predominantly across the North-East and Yorkshire depending on office location
Skills and Knowledge Required of the Internal Auditor:
- AAT level 4 qualified
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Recent general practice background
- Experience of involvement in or leading audits
- Strong project management and organisational skills
Have the ability to work under pressure and work to tight timescales
- Must have excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel
- Have good attention to detail
- The ability to travel to clients premises as required
Desirable
- Internal audit qualification awarded by the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors
- Knowledge of industry standard accounting packages such as Sage, IRIS, Access and Xero
Knowledge of the education sector
