We are looking an experienced email marketing specialist to join our team. As Email Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing our e-CRM campaigns and delivering the email marketing strategy.

You are comfortable managing large scale email marketing campaigns, which include frequent promotional campaigns in peak season, and implementing email automation strategies to make communications timely, relevant, and specific to the customer.

You are proactive, without being told what to do, able to bring new ideas and opportunities. You are clear on objectives, use your time and external resource wisely and in the right mix to get stuff done. You have a great deal of expertise working with email automation, e-CRM software and you love data! You know what it takes to maximise performance of email marketing through testing, analysis, segmentation, and automation.

In this role you will:

  • Implement the email marketing strategy with a focus on segmentation and audiences, email build, testing, personalised dynamic content, and marketing automation with the aim of driving clicks and conversions.
  • Maximise deliverability, engagement metrics and conversion rates through best practice.
  • Optimise email success through an obsession with data and analysis.
  • Be our email platform expert, comfortable with all aspects of email journey execution.
  • Manage data checks, lists, segments, parameters, and data hygiene processes.
  • Develop test plans with the CRM Manager to optimise email performance.
  • Ensure email messaging is mobile-first and optimised across devices.
  • Track and monitor past and current campaign performance.
  • Work with CRM Manager and Marketing Executive to ensure campaign plans and email schedules run smoothly, including a robust proofing process.

You'll definitely have:

  • 2+ years experience creating and launching email campaigns using email marketing automation software, with a specific requirement for Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
  • Proven experience in crafting email campaigns that convert at above industry levels.
  • Strong written English and grammar.
  • Knowledge of HTML, responsive email design, personalisation, and dynamic content.
  • An unbeatable eye for detail, accuracy, and impeccable proofing skills.
  • Experience creating and sending large-scale email campaigns within a modern CRM.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Knowledge of ISPs, filters, postmasters, deliverability, and inbox placement.
  • Experience with whitelists, blacklists, and authentication
  • An up-to-date understanding of advertising codes, data protection regulations.

Nice to have:

  • A marketing degree or professional marketing qualification.
  • Ability to query data.
  • Experience in small, dynamic teams.

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days in the office in St Ives and 3 days working from home.
