Job Title: Registration Officer

Location: Bristol

Pay Rate: 12.18 18.27 per hour

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Hours Per Week: 37 hours

Start Date: 05/08/2024

End Date: 31/01/2025

Assignment Duration: 26 weeks fulltime (37 hours per week)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Registration Officer on behalf of one of our clients to join their team in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support and ensure smooth operations in the registration office. This role involves interacting with the public managing appointments handling payments and performing registration duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle general administrative duties including answering customer calls and assisting visitors in person.
  • Schedule appointments for the registration of births deaths and notices of marriage or civil partnership.
  • Utilize IT systems including Microsoft Office and specialized registration programs.
  • Process payments for ceremonies over the phone.
  • Prepare and copy certificates for incoming applications.
  • Register marriages at the register office.
  • Maintain neat handwriting and clear communication in English.




Requirements


Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and registration software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service abilities.
  • Fluent in English with neat handwriting.
