Accountant

Job Summary
The Accountant is mainly responsible for our accounts payable and receivable management. As we are growing our business quite fast, we need to be able to handle the increase in administrative business transactions. The position holder will also support the CFO and Head of Accounting on miscellaneous ad hoc projects.
Functions and duties
The duties assigned to the Accountant are varied, but will include:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting, together with the other accounting team members, for our international group structure (12 entities, 4 continents)
- IFRS & SCO accounting for ensuring accurate month-, quarter- and year-end closing processes
- Supporting monthly group consolidation
- Bank reconciliations
- Development & maintenance of ERP System with Head of Accounting
- Supporting for statutory and financial audits and reports
- Ad hoc requests and projects from the CFO, where required
Qualifications and Experience
- 2 years practical Accounting experience, preferably with specialist accounting/finance qualification
- Knowledgeable on accounting and external reporting
- High level of competency with excel and ERP systems (preferably MS Dynamics)
- Good communication skills
