Whats the role?

The Technical Stores and Warehouse Operative reporting to the Technical Facility & Warehouse Manager will perform a key role in delivery of our Outside Broadcast Projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of Technical Equipment and cable to load/ pick list, checking in and checking out of hired in equipment and ensuring organisation and safe storage of equipment and cables in designated locations within the technical stores.Sign for deliveries and work with Technical Facility & Warehouse Manager to book in correctly and ensure proper distribution to end user. Adhere to and exhibit good health and safety practice within the warehouse and yard areas. e.g High Vis and Safety footwear. Have an awareness of potential Hazards in the workplace.

Working areas include but are not limited to: Mixed purpose warehouse, warehouse and mezzanine technical stores, workshops, and outside yard. Production vehicles and technical support vehicles.

We are looking for an individual with the ability to use initiative; meticulous attention to detail; pro-active and self-motivated/willing to learn. You must have basic Microsoft Office/Apple apps user knowledge and a logical thought process: ability to work well under instruction and be calm under pressure.You must have a flexible attitude and developed communication skills.

A Full clean UK driving license is desirable as well as a Forklift license (howevertraining can be provided).Heavy lifting is involved so physical fitness is desired.
