Are you an experienced buyer with excellent negotiation ss and a commercial mindset Our wellelished and thriving FMCG client is seeking a Buyer to join their senior leadership team.

As the Buyer you will play a pivotal role in the senior management team collaborating closely with the Managing Director and coordinating with suppliers across the globe. You will lead the procurement process from sourcing new suppliers to managing order placements while staying ahead of market trends to drive informed purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Supplier Management: Source manage and negotiate with international suppliers ensuring compliance with trade regulations and quality standards.
  
• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our business goals optimizing costs and ensuring timely delivery.
  
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate competitive pricing favourable payment terms and longterm supplier relationships.
  
• Logistics and Compliance: Coordinate with internal teams to manage import processes customs and ensure ontime delivery.
  
• Tenders and Pricing: Lead customer tenders providing Sales & Marketing teams with accurate pricing and market insights.
  
• New Supplier Development: Research and onboard new suppliers to enhance the supply chain and meet customer demands.
  

What We re Looking For

• Proven Buying experience in FMCG Food or Finished Goods industries.
  
• Strong negotiation and supplier management ss with a global focus.
  
• Knowledge of international shipping customs duties and stock control.
  
• Experience with procurement software ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  
• Excellent organizational and timemanagement ss.
  
• A proactive resultsdriven approach with a keen eye for cost optimization and efficiency.
  

Package

• Competitive Salary: 60K 85K per annum plus discretionary bonuses.
  
• Flexible Work: Hybrid working with 1 day workfromhome per week (Fridays).
