To ensure public and front of house areas are cleaned and presentable to the highest standard at all times. To carry out daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.

Main Duties:

Cleaning all Mill Farm Stadium internal areas, Fylde Sports & Education Centre, Restaurants, Bars, and Function Suites.

To clean on a daily basis;

  • All internal glass doors, panels and screens.
  • Televisions and large screens.
  • Tabletops, legs and frames.
  • All shelving and recessed areas.
  • Vacuum floor areas.
  • All skirting boards.
  • Door frames and doors.
  • Bar front and foot rail.
  • Picture frames and glass.
  • Vacuum and sweep the floors.
  • Check and clean the stadium seating areas when required.
  • Using the Karcher machine for each area;
  • Wooden flooring.
  • Tiled Flooring.
  • Dust and clean all fire extinguishers.
  • Vacuum and clean banquette seating.
  • Clean and polish all sign and name plates.
  • Vacuum entrance mat at both entrances.
  • Pick up any cigarette ends outside both doorways and al-fresco area.
  • Clean glass and barrier in al-fresco area.
  • Cushions and soft furnishings.
  • Caf counter frontage.
  • Dividing wall sections especially near handles and recessed area.
  • Cleaning rooms within the hotel to a high standard.

Hotel

Ensure that all bedrooms are cleaned and maintained to the agreed standards.

To clean on a daily basis;

  • Changing bed linen and towels.
  • Making beds.
  • Vacuuming floors.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture.
  • Cleaning bathrooms.
  • Replacing stock of guest supplies.
  • Completion of linen forms to ensure all linen sent to external supplier is returned ad there are no discrepancies with linen supplies.
  • Cleaning the hotel gym including wiping down machines.

Toilet/Cloakroom Facilities

To clean on a daily basis;

  • Gents.
  • Ladies.
  • Disabled.

Each of the above requires the below cleaning;

  • All door cubicle frames, doors and handles.
  • All sinks.
  • Urinals.
  • Replenishment of toilet rolls in all holders and cleaning of unit.
  • All glassware and mirrors.
  • Sweep floor in particular corners.
  • Mop all floors with detergent and clean water.
  • Polish all taps.
  • Clean and polish all hand dryers.
  • Empty bins and ensure a new bag is used daily.
  • Check hand soaps and moisturisers, replenish where necessary.

  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Smart in appearance.
  • Polite & courteous.
  • Takes pride in achieving high standards.
  • Ability to work on their own and unsupervised.
  • Organised and good time management.
  • Knowledge of COSSH.
