About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Religious Studies lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a respectful and thoughtprovoking learning environment that encourages discussions about faith philosophy and ethics.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of major world religions and their historical and contemporary significance.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Religious Studies department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Studies or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of religious beliefs and a passion for fostering interfaith dialogue.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a singlesex learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
