Senior Care Practitioner – Day Shifts. Priesty Fields Care Home
- Salary: £13.75 per hour
- Hours: Fulltime 33 hours per week
- Shifts: 8am 8pm 3 days per week including some weekends on a rolling rota

As a Senior Care Practitioner at our home your role may involve:
- Lead and support care teams in delivering highquality personcentered care
- Assist residents with personal care nutrition and daily activities
- Provide emotional support and companionship ensuring residents live fulfilling enriched lives based on their individual preferences and abilities
- Oversee seniorlevel duties including staff supervisions appraisals recordkeeping and liaising with external professionals
- Maintain a high standard of care and professionalism within the home

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
What we’re looking for
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a residential or nursing care setting (essential)
- A warm positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Confidence in using technology and recordkeeping systems
- Ability to remain composed and offer guidance to colleagues in highpressure situations
- Flexibility to accommodate shift patterns that meet the needs of our residents
