Our client is a wellestablished chartered accountancy practice based in Caterham Surrey. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. The successful Accountant will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience. This is a mixed tax & accounts position ideal for an experienced practice accountant looking to join a growing team with exceptional exposure on offer.
Within this position you will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team. You may also receive study support if relevant.
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients
- Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax computations
- Preparation of VAT returns
- General bookkeeping using cloud software Xero QuickBooks Sage etc.
- Supporting the directors with adhoc advisory work
- Assisting more junior members of staff
Requirements
- You will be ACCA / ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
- Experience of cloud software such as Iris Xero Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
