Live in Domestic Couple Position (Houskeeper & Maintenance) For Lovely Family Near Truro 65k gpa + 2 bed cottage

Experienced domestic couple sought for a beautiful large home near Truro in Cornwall.

Both partners must be fit and active, able to work independently of each other and as a team for this super position.

One to look after all the housekeeping duties and the other to cover all maintenance (including machinery and equipment), handy work, some decorating, small electrical and plumbing issues throughout the house, holiday cottages, swimming pool and hot tubs.The Groundsman is also employed to help the head gardener with an extensive garden and duties will include mowing, weeding, watering and strimming.

Housekeeping duties would include care of everything in the house including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, laundry, ironing and making beds.

Cooking is not required - but if really happy to then it would be appreciated on occasion.

Both candidates should enjoy engaging with children, as occasional babysitting required for school aged children. Animal lovers advantageous as the family has a dog, a cat and two horses. Some animal care and dog walking appreciated.

The housekeeper is also expected to muck in and help the gardeners when not busy.

Animal sitting for the dog and cat would be required when the Principals are away.

Hours are approx 9am to 6pm with an hour for lunch.

Salary 65k gross per annum plus a separate self-contained two bedroom cottage. (Sorry no dependents and prefer no pets also)
