Careersolve are delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturingcompany inWellingboroughwho are currently recruitingfor a Forklift Truck Driver to join them on a permanent basis.

Working Hours: 37.5 per week on a 3 x shift rotation

My client offers a substantial salary which is dependent upon experience as well as a generous benefits package.

This role is to ensure all planned loads are loaded in full and on time. All consumable deliveries are unloaded and stored safely in line with H&S and quality requirements. Support all warehouse functions as required.

Main Activities/ Experience/ Responsibilities of the Forklift Truck Driver role:

The post holder will require to observe and uphold H&S in the workplace environment, whether individually or performing tasks within a team. The post holder must also possess a demonstrable ability of driving counterbalance forklift trucks under load as well as hold a valid UK CB FLT license. Follow and comply with Wilsonart policy and quality system procedures and practice.

The ability to understand and follow the correct process for using load picking tickets and load builds.

Work effectively with colleagues to participate and contribute to the successful completion of both personal, team and business quality objectives.

Contribute to the implementation of continual improvement processes within WILSONART and undertake to satisfy internal and external customers.

Report any unsafe equipment, areas, or acts immediately to the warehouse shift manager to resolve issues and maintain best practice.

Conduct quality checks in line with the quality management system to ensure all products are within expected quality standards, highlighting non-conformance immediately prior to loading.

Conduct daily equipment checks, to maintain a safe working environment.

Understand and conduct 5s within all working areas.

Key attributes of the Forklift Truck Driver:

Forklift (counterbalance) & daily checks of FLT.

Warehousing.

Understand and follow work instructions (SOP s) and risk assessments.

Stock control & Location Control.

Continuous improvement.

Health and Safety.
