Position: Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description:

As a Veterinary Surgeon you will play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Consultations: Conducting routine checkups vaccinations and consultations for various animal species.
• Diagnostics: Performing physical examinations laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Treatments: Administering medications performing minor surgeries and providing appropriate treatments for illnesses and injuries.
• Surgery: Assisting in or performing surgical procedures including spays neuters and other surgeries.
• Emergency Care: Handling emergency cases and providing critical care when necessary.
• Client Education: Providing clear and informative advice to clients regarding animal care preventative measures and disease prevention.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other veterinary professionals including veterinary nurses technicians and receptionists to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• Veterinary Medicine Degree: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification.
• Registration: Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• Experience: Previous experience in veterinary practice while not essential is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills. A strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for veterinary medicine.
