Tasks

At operviser, we help SMEs to start, manage and grow their business in the UK by offering a full range of services. The idea is to provide them with all the services they need in one place delivered by a strong network of experts who cares about their performance and growth.

Our team needs a new business development intern to connect with new prospects and close new deals.

As a business development intern, you will learn and contribute to:

  • Defining and implementing a successful business development strategy;
  • Generating new leads through innovative methods such as scraping;
  • Managing the CRM (HubSpot);
  • Creating an efficient sales pitch;
  • Booking sales meetings;
  • Participating in sales meetings;
  • Closing deals;
  • Defining, tracking and measuring business development targets.

Requirements

All applicants must:

  • Be able to work remotely;
  • Have great speaking and writing skills in English;
  • Mandatory - Be based in the UK and undertake a course in marketing with a UK-registered higher university requiring to do an internship for less than one year as part of a UK-based further or higher education course;
  • Have a good understanding of SMEs challenges and a strong interest in entrepreneurship;
  • Be tech-savvy;
  • Have great communication skills and be a great team player;
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic.
