Experience:
- Teaching Experience: Year 6 SEN teachers typically need previous experience in teaching at the primary school level. Some schools may expect experience specifically in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Experience with SEN Students: Direct experience working with children with special needs either through placements teaching or volunteering is often required. Experience with Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) is particularly valuable.
