Social Sciences Teacher Brilliant Secondary School Croydon (KS4 & KS5)

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Sciences Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Croydon South London. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a positive impact on young minds within a supportive and highperforming environment.

About the Role:

  • Teach a full range of Social Sciences subjects with a focus on Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5.
  • Develop engaging and stimulating lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters intellectual curiosity.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through collaboration with colleagues and pastoral care initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a relevant degree in Social Sciences Psychology or a related field.
  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a demonstrable track record of success in teaching Social Sciences.
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Social Sciences at KS4 and KS5 is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students parents and colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about Social Sciences with the ability to ignite a love for the subject in students.
