Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery:
    • Plan deliver and evaluate engaging and stimulating English lessons across the curriculum catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 78) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 911) in line with the National Curriculum.
    • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their literacy skills effectively (phonics reading comprehension writing fluency grammar vocabulary acquisition).
  • Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress in reading writing speaking and listening skills (formative and summative assessments).
    • Provide students with clear constructive feedback that helps them improve their writing reading and analytical skills (written feedback peer review selfassessment).
