Job description

As Operations Manager UK (f/m/d) you will lead the development and implementation of the UK business operations. With your experience, knowledge and efforts, you will provide operational excellence and you design efficient processes to create a top-notch customer experience for the world's most innovative young company for battery technology.
In a fabless environment, and acting as a local expert, you will work with central operations, sales, product and finance teams to:

  • Implement & manage the UK third party logistics partnership to enable fast and reliable warehousing, fulfilment and returns.
  • Source, onboard and manage an external local repair hub for our first product, instagrid ONE.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver trade fairs, product demonstrations & training.
  • Support Sales team in the implementation of the customer success strategy.
  • Working with the New Ventures team, enable successful delivery of large-scale product field trials and build the field services team internationally upon product launch.
  • Input into the development of world class fleet management cloud software platform as trusted advisor to New Ventures.
  • Align your successful operational implementations with the central team and make sure your best practices are scalable so they can be rolled out in other territories such as USA or Africa as instagrid expands around the world.

Requirements

  • You have an academic degree BA/BS
  • You have a strong technical background, gained via solid experience (min. 5 years) in temporary power and/or energy storage.
  • You are tech-savvy and use systems to become more efficient. Experience with the modern software stack is a must. Netsuite/Oracle is an advantage.
  • You are solution-oriented, very reliable and work in a structured way.
  • You are fluent in English, other languages are a benefit.
  • You have superior communication skills to ensure that operations mixes well with other teams.
