Our esteemed school in Ealing a highly rated by Ofsted secondary school seeks a talented and enthusiastic Food Technology teacher to join our dynamic faculty. About the Role:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
• Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of food cooking and practical skills.
• Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques nutrition and food safety.
• Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond).
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Food Technology department and contribute to schoolwide events such as the annual food festival or culinary competitions.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related subject.
• Demonstrates a strong passion for food cooking and nutrition with a captivating teaching style.
• Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
• Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
• Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
• Has a proven track record of successful teaching with a particular emphasis on engaging students and fostering a love of learning.
