Music Teacher Position in Liverpool:Inspire the Next Generation of Musicians

On behalf of our esteemed client a thriving secondary school in Liverpool we are seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join their dedicated team. This fulltime permanent position commences in January and presents an exceptional opportunity to share your musical expertise and ignite a lifelong love of music in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 fostering students musical skills and appreciation.
  • Create a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and celebrates musical expression.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their musical development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enrich the schools music program including extracurricular activities and performances.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in music education.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Music or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
  • Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
  • Strong understanding of music theory history and performance practices.
