About the Role:

  • Design and deliver engaging and informative Physics lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
  • Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of science critical thinking and problemsolving.
  • Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core mathematical and physical principles analytical skills and practical applications.
  • Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond) in both Mathematics and Physics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Science and Mathematics departments to enhance the curriculum and create a holistic learning experience.
  • Contribute to the schools academic excellence and participate in extracurricular activities related to Science and Mathematics.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physics or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for Physics and a captivating teaching style.
  • Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
