Science Teacher Opportunity Birmingham Secondary School

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team in a fulltime permanent capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate young minds in the wonders of science.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 fostering a love for scientific inquiry and equipping students with essential knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement creative and stimulating Science lessons that align with the national curriculum and schools educational goals.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity exploration and active participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department and across the school to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in science education and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level.
