Year 1 Teacher responsibilities:
Design and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 1 students
Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the schools curriculum and national standards
Assess and evaluate Year 1 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies
Provide regular feedback to Year 1 students parents and colleagues on student progress
Create a safe inclusive and supportive learning environment
Communicate effectively with parents carers and other professionals
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences
Year 1 Teacher requirements:
QTS PGCE and strong academic record
Creative imaginative determined resourceful and adaptable practitioner
Passionate about learning
Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 1 environment
Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
