Caretaker / Handy Person
13.35 13.50 per hour

Are you a proactive and detailoriented individual with a passion for maintenance and housekeeping Help maintain a toptier residential development to the highest standards of cleanliness safety and comfort. As well as the practical aspect of the role such as cleaning there will be a degree of interaction with the residents so it is essential that you have good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities will include
- Performing housekeeping duties across all development areas including block entrances bin and cycle stores.
- Conducting daily briefings with the line manager to address any issues.
- Reporting maintenance concerns including door/gate entry systems.
- Performing deep cleaning tasks and ensure the development remains litterfree.
- Operating various cleaning tools and equipment such as pressure washers.
- Monitoring contractors ensuring adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
- Handling basic maintenance repairs painting and decorating as needed.
- Responding effectively to emergencies such as floods fires and gas leaks.
- Maintaining accurate records including utility meter readings.
You should be an enthusiastic friendly individual who has a genuine desire to give a high level of customer service and is happy to oblige whenever and wherever assistance is needed. Reasonable admin and computer skills would also be required to ensure records are kept up to date accurately.
Working hours 21 to 28 hours a week
Hourly rate 13.35 to 13.50
