In process of consolidating our platform, we are looking for experienced .Net SQL Server developers to help migrate a number microservice backend databases from Postgres to Azure SQL Server.

These are not legacy systems, being only a few years old.They are being migrated in order to unify the platform and resolve specific technical issues.

Strong .Net C# and Sql server skills are essential.
Familiarity with Postgres is beneficial but ability to read sql and quickly
research syntactical and behavioural differences would be sufficient to succeed
in this role.

Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to:

  • reimplement Postgres databases in Sql Server

  • replicate behaviour of stored procedures

  • implement data access layers in c#

  • repurpose old & write new c# repository tests

  • design,
    implement & execute data migration processes
