We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing first-line HR advisory services and supporting our managers across various departments.
Duration of Assignment: 12 weeks (with potential extension)
Working Hours: 20 hours per week
Tasks
- Offer first-line HR advisory services concerning employee relations.
- Assist managers throughout the Council in people management, including attending meetings and offering guidance.
- Aid managers with absence management.
- Process maternity and paternity requests.
- Help in the revision and updating of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Oversee HR information systems for data input and statistical analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR information systems.
