COMMERCIAL VEHICLE FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Our client is a specialist for intelligent drive technology and systems. Their customers are in diverse industries such as oil and gas energy mining ship technology rail and commercial vehicles. They are looking to employ on a full time permanent basis an experienced Commercial Vehicle Field Services Engineer. This role will be homebased but candidates will need to be in the Luton area north of the M25. A company vehicle is provided.

Drug and Alcohol related medical for all New Employees upon starting.

Commercial Vehicle Field Services Engineer Offer

50k to 60k depending on experience

Hours are MonThurs 08:00 to 17:00 and Fri 07:00 to 15:30 a 41 hour week

Commercial Vehicle Field Services Engineer Responsibilities

Service support for commercial vehicles electric drive and bus transmissions

Carry out diagnostics and repairs at customers sites

Carry out major unit exchanges

Support OEMs as required

Provide technical support and advice to sales colleagues

Complete and submit paperwork together with engineering reports

Maintenance stock levels

Maintain company vehicle

Commercial Vehicle Field Services Engineer Requirements

Completed an engineering apprenticeship as a minimum preferred level 5 or higher qualification

Mechatronics and multiskilled engineer with an electrical bias

Background in field service engineering

Experience with electrical vehicles

Working knowledge of zero emission vehicles electrical drive / fuel cell

Experience with high voltage vehicle systems

Working knowledge of variable speed electric drives and control systems

Good IT skills

A Full UK Driving Licence
