A Global Asset Management firm is seeking an IT Engineer Support Analyst to cover 1st/2nd line support.
About the job
A global asset management firm operating in the worlds main financial markets.
Key responsibilities:
Interact with the global IT team assisting them in daily operational tasks for all IT infrastructure;
Use a ticket system daily for tracking time and updating management on tasks being completed;
Setting up video conferencing calls for Directors and employees;
Relationship with external service providers;
Experience with Gmail, Google profiles and also integrating Gmail to Microsoft Outlook;
Requirements
Skills required:
Bachelor of Computer Science (or related), or equivalent of 3-5 years experience as IT Support Engineer Analyst;
Proactive and Resilient profile to understand, think and solve user issues quickly;
Good level of technical troubleshooting skills;
Good verbal communication skills will be essential;
Excellent written skills for communication with second language users, as well as creating and updating documentation;
The ability to cope well under pressure and to be able to correctly delegate tasks with different urgencies;
Experience with technologies such as Active Directory, Windows10, networking, cloud (MS Azure), printers, telephone system, and CCTV system;
Experience using online video conferencing systems e.g. Zoom, Teams, Webex, Skype;
Application support will be part of the daily routine supporting Bloomberg, Reuters, Broadcast, Microsoft Office, Haver, CEIC, and other financial applications;
