The Role

TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic independent firm of chartered certified accountants based near West Malling, who are searching for a Senior Accountant to join their successful team. You will have a hands on position delivering accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and planning services to a varied portfolio of clients.

Our client has been established in the Kent market for a long time. They are an independent tax planning and business consultancy who provide integrated advice to private clients and their businesses on all aspects of tax planning, business consultancy and financial management. They focus on the planning needs of high-net-worth individuals across owner managers, property investors and international clients.

Part time applicants will also be considered. Our client is also offering flexible working hours and a hybrid working pattern.

You will be responsible for:

Managing your own portfolio of clients
Preparation of financial statements
Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
Preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns
Assisting junior staff members with their work where required
Dealing with client queries and advisory projects
Assisting Partners as necessary, with existing and new client queries

Requirements

You will be likely operating around Accounts Senior level, or similar, delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels. Benefits

35,000 - 45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.

Suitable applicants for this Senior Accountant role will be any of AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a career background in accountancy practice, working within a small or medium firm background and/or, Top 50/ Mid or Top Tier firm experience.
